Job Description

GSG Financial is seeking a full-time employee to complete our Leadership Training Program. The Candidate will rotate through GSG’s business segments and ultimately will be placed within one of our core groups as a key member of our team. Rotation will begin with Documentation and Transaction Management. Future rotations will likely include Credit Analysis, Marketing and Sales. Trainee will work out of GSG’s New York City office.

Primary Responsibilities:

− Support vendor and end user sales initiatives by coordinating communication with internal and external stakeholders
− Enter transactions into front end originations system and provide initial analysis on deal structures, profitability and credit
− Learn project management through hands-on experience with vendors, end users and banking partners
− Assist with management of major accounts and supporting field sales team
− Conduct research and support initial sales outreach to vendors and end users in target markets
− Develop marketing communication materials including social media and website content and manage marketing initiatives
− Other tasks as needed

Ideal Candidate:

− Detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills
− Clear and articulate oral and written communication skills
− Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative fast-paced, team environment
− Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
− Internship or 1-3 years office experience a plus
− Analytical thinker with confidence to sensibly solve problems on the fly
− Ability to multi-task
− Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
