Job Description

The Account Manager will support GSG’s sales pipeline by coordinating with the sales team, equipment manufacturers, dealers, and end users to provide equipment financing and leasing solutions nationwide. The Account Manager is responsible for guiding new and existing accounts through the funding process from credit submission through lease closing while providing dedicated customer service to all stakeholders. Successful Account Managers will build and maintain relationships and solicit future business when appropriate. The job requires attention to detail, prioritization, diligent follow up and attentiveness to estimated funding timelines. Account Manager will work out of GSG’s New York City office.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Actively work transactions from sourcing to credit, structuring and pricing to funding
• Support sales efforts by communicating financing solutions that create programmatic and transactional relationships with manufacturers, dealers and end users
• Provide professional and courteous customer service and respond promptly to calls and emails

Ideal Candidate:

• Detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative fast-paced, team environment
• Self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and make money
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
• Internship or 1-3 years office experience
• Preference made for candidates with experience in the equipment financing industry or sales role that included leasing/financing as an integral part of the selling process.    Training opportunities are available to candidates new to the equipment finance industry
• Ability to leverage, formulate and sustain relationships
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
